Waivers of tax evasion crimes - The no. 1992/2021 Decision of the Three-Member Misdemeanor Court of Thessaloniki

With the no. ATPTH 1992/2021 Decision of the Three-member Misdemeanor Court of Thessaloniki, on a case successfully handled by our office, definitively stopped the criminal prosecution of the misdemeanors of issuing and receiving fictitious invoices for the years 2007, 2008 and 2009.

In particular, it accepted the defense's claim to shift the start of the statute of limitations from the time the fine was confirmed to the time the act was committed, based on principle of the Beneficent Law.
