In a case handled by our office, according to the provisions of articles 5-30 of Law 4738/2020, a restructuring proposal was reached which included the cancellation of debts amounting to 408,328.37 euros. This corresponded to 63.6% of the total debt, i.e. more than 1/2 of the total debt. ' out-of-court debt settlement mechanism is one of the means available to borrowers in order to settle their debts.
